Sundance 2015

If you've never attempted to walk through an airport wearing sunglasses, all black with a bored/hungover/VIP look in your eyes, aka 'I'm famous but please don't take my picture' attitude, then Sundance may not be for you. In Park City, UT on Main Street for 10 days out of the year, a mix of nobodies, A-D list celebs, famemongers, PR agents, and entertainment industry peeps crowd the cold streets. And with everyone covered in their winter finest, the peasant nobodies are practically indiscernible from the 'he was on that tv show' types. Which means...you could be mistaken for ANYONE there. (We once chased a woman for 4 blocks thinking she was Courtney Love).
The place is jam-packed with crazy events, films, concerts, Q&As and other shit to make being in Utah for more than a lay-over pretty worth it. Did we mention the parties? Birthdays, magazine parties, after-screening parties, you name it-- it's there.. So don't act surprised when you see a former reality show star with notorious good looks DJing at a basement club, or one of the actors from 'ARGO' hanging in your entourage.

Now, we're not saying all we do is party; we are cultured fake socialites after all. But did we go to an international film festival without seeing one film? Maybe... Sure, we could've gone to the premiere of Kurt Cobain's documentary and sat next to Courtney Love or another washed up former drug addict, but I think you'll agree that going to Iggy's soundcheck and drinking one too many jello shots while pretending to be Australian to an actual Australian pop singer was way more fun.
In our style of life, sometimes you have to make tough choices, you have to risk it all to have a ball, my dears. For example: Is it morally wrong to bring two Scandanavian brothers back to an apt when we were merely couchsurfers at... which got us instantly kicked out (and yes - homeless. VIP homeless, of course)? MAYBE. (Shoutout to Niklaus and Aleksander from DENMARK!!!!) Or, is it considered "bad choices" to break into a huge mansion with a famous photographer to party.... and then accidentally pass out there? Did we have to flee the scene in the morning like convicts? PERHAPS

I guess what we're saying is, there are many paths to take in this world and sometimes the consequences can be severe, but we wouldn't miss opportunities like sneaking into the Rolling Stone Magazine Party and trying to perform on stage for the world.
